Actions:

Soothes the Liver and harmonizes and releases lesser yang-stage disorders.

 

Indications:

Alternating fever and chills, bitter or sour taste in the mouth, dry throat, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, irritability, reduced appetite, sensation of fullness in the chest and hypochondria (often experienced as difficulty in taking deep breaths), heartburn, hardness beneath the Heart, pain beneath the ribs when pressured, resistance and pressure pain beneath the Liver, stifling neck.

This formula may be used in treating such biomedically-defined disorders as;

Influenza, acute or chronic bronchitis, upper respiratory tract infection, pleuritis, gastritis, pulmonary tuberculosis, cholecystitis, lymphadenitis, epidemic parotitis, acute viral hepatitis, pyelitis, acute pyelonephritis, neurosis, mastitis, jaundice, malaria, post partum fever, intercostal neuralgia, mental instability in children.

 

Cautions and Contraindications:

Long-term taking of this formula can cause headache, dizziness, and bleeding of gums.

Contraindicated for patients with excess above and deficiency below, bleeding of the gums, the Liver fire. Use with caution in cases of ascendant Liver yang, hypertension, or vomiting of blood due to yin deficiency. Patients with relatively weak normal qi may experience fever and chills while taking this formula because the pathogenic influence is vented from the lesser yang stage via the greater yang.

適應症:

體力 보통으로 상복부가 팽팽하여 답답하고 한열왕래, 口中불쾌감. 口苦. 口酸. 식욕부진.

심번. 인건. 惡心이 있는 다음 제증: 모든 급성 열성병. 폐렴. 기관지염. 만성간염. 간경화.

급성담낭염. 중이염. 임파선염. 욕창. 급성유선염. 고환염. 흉막염. 편도선염. 담마진. 황달.

늑간신경통. 만성위장장애. 위장허약. 감기. 감기 후기증상. 산후 회복불완전. 메스꺼움.

피로감. 耳聾. 目赤. 소변불리. 초조. 우울감 등.

 

藥效群: 感氣藥. 解熱鎭痛消炎劑. 健胃消化藥.

體力 보통인 사람에게 胸脇苦滿이 있는 경우에 사용한다: 열성질환에서는 식욕부진. 口中

불쾌감 同伴. 식욕부진, 전신권태감을 동반한 제 만성질환. 소아 허약체질 개선에 쓰인다.

體力充實. 胸脇苦滿. 복벽긴장 뚜렷. 변비 경향. 大柴胡湯과 비슷. 억울경향. 불안. 불면. 易怒. 복대동맥 박동항진. 體力보통 以下. 자연발한 경향. 頭痛. 안면홍조. 복직근 긴장. 體力보통 以下. 전신권태. 易疲勞. 가벼운 胸脇苦滿. 體力低下. 약간의 胸脇苦滿. 上熱下寒. 정신증상.

 

注意事項:

◆ 다른 한방 처방과 병용할 경우 특히 감초를 포함한 제제와의 병용에 주의하여야 한다.

◆ 체력이 심하게 떨어진 자: 부작용이 나타나기 쉽고 그 증상의 악화 우려.

◆ 간질성 폐렴이 나타날 수 있으므로 발열, 기침, 호흡 곤란 등의 증상이 나타날 경우

투여를 중지할 것.  특히 interferon α를 투여중인 환자는 禁用할 것.

◆ 간양상항의 고혈압이나 음허, 음허화왕자는 禁用.

◆ 두통. 현훈. 치출혈 발생시 용법 주의.

◆ 과민증: 발진. 담마진등이 나타나는 경우——- 투여중지.

◆ 비뇨기: 드물게 빈뇨. 배뇨통. 혈뇨. 잔뇨감등의 방광염증상 —— 투여중지.

◆ 간장: 드물게 황달. GOT. GPT 상승의 부작용.

◆ 소화기: 식욕부진. 胃部불쾌감. 오심. 복통. 설사등이 나타나는 경우가 있다.

◆ 임부 또는 임신 가능성이 있는 여성에게는 신중한 투여 요망.
